Ken in the UK!
Ken had a fantastic time during his three day tour events!
He visited and met fans in Dublin, Edinburgh and Glasgow. The photo shows Ken signing for fans at the Dublin event!
Ken wanted to thank all the fans who attended the events and will be back in the UK again very soon!

More UK Appearances confirmed!

Message from Ken about Foree Fest!
Below is a message from Ken as posted on his official site regarding Foree Fest:
A few years ago I was approached by two good friends, Richard Booth and Stuart Green, to visit the UK. They wanted to put on an event featuring me. Our purpose was to have an intimate couple of days that would include some films, story-telling, a Q&A, dinner and a few drinks at the local pub. We wanted it to be different from other gatherings by giving the fans a more personal experience: something that is not the norm for the Convention or Festival circuit. Richard and Stuart wanted to get it going right away and they came up with the name "Foree Fest". In our excitement, we didn't pay too much attention to the name, except that it would let the fans in the UK know that I was going to appear. It was neither my intention nor Richard and Stuart’s to be pretentious by using my name as the title and when we did realize it after our initial excitement, it was too late. Of course it was advertised all over the Internet. So for all those who have described this event as pretentious: we got caught up in the moment; it was and is a great idea (except for the "Foree Fest" title). We are going to have the festival again next year (with a new title). I want to have Patrica Quinn do a weekend of stories and films - her story telling alone would make it worth attending - and also my good friend, Doug Bradley, will make for a delightful weekend. So, my friends and fans, them's the facts.

Stuart and I as fans of Dawn of the Dead and assisting Ken at UK and US events called on their friend to develop Foree Fest as a new event in the UK to give other events a run for their money and be the first to concentrate on the fans and their time for the ticket price.
We had Ken appear to launch the event and after the success of the first event and good feedback by fans, Ken agreed to become a partner for the project and enlist other actors to join us and appear in the laid back ambience of the event to meet fans and take part in the Q&A sessions and introduce their films.
The event came to a hold when the lives of the main promoters and event organizers Richard Booth and Stuart Green went through life changing situations. Richard was expecting his first baby daughter and Stuart ventured into running his own business. Foree Fest had to be put on hold and unfortunately is still on hold this year. It will return but unfortunately not at the present time.

Brotherhood of Blood Release!
Brotherhood of Blood stars Victoria Pratt, Ken Foree, Sid Haig and Jason Connery, and is directed by Peter Scheerer and Michael Roesch.
The release date for the US and Canada is October 14th. It will be released by Sam Raimi´s GHOSTHOUSE UNDERGROUND label at Lionsgate. The movie will be released as well in the UK, Australia, New Zealand, Japan and Germany this Fall!

Black Santa's Revenge now available!
Ken Foree stars in this epic short film based on the popular comic book story that appeared in the pages of BadAzz MoFo magazine.
Written, produced and directed by BadAzz MoFo creator David Walker, BLACK SANTA’S REVENGE is a two-fisted tale of yuletide vengeance reminiscent of the classic blaxploitation and revenge films of the 1970s and 80s. Think William Lustig’s Vigilante meets Ivan Dixon’s Trouble Man. Adapted from the short comic book story drawn by Rusty Beach and written by Walker, the film version of BSR is filled with all the classic elements of exploitation cinema; graphic violence, gratuitous nudity, and tons of profanity, all crammed into a 20-minute running time.
David Walker worked closely with Ken Foree, who co-produced BLACK SANTA’S REVENGE, for nearly three years, carefully developing the character and the project into something they could both be proud of. The final result is a “mini epic” that has quickly developed a loyal cult following. Co-starring Todd Robinson, with original poster art by Stephen Romano and music by Ryan Sorensen (of Engorged fame) and the phenomenal Lifesavas, BLACK SANTA’S REVENGE is destined to become a classic.

Foree Fest '07 DVD now available!
It has took a while, but the DVD from Foree Fest 07 is now available to purchase!
The DVD runs for 1 hour and 50 minutes and features the highlights of the two day event, and also feature a sneak peek video of what to expect for Foree Fest '08.
They are available now for £7.99. Postage is £2.00 worldwide.
All proceeds from the DVD sales will be going to Foree Fest 08 and a small proportion will also be donated to the charity fund for Epilepsy.
Payment can be made via paypal to stuarta.green@tiscali.co.uk, or if you are in the UK cheques will also be accepted made payable to: 'Richard Booth'.

Dear Organizers of Foree Fest 2007,
We would like to take this opportunity to thank you immensely for the hugely entertaining Foree Fest 2007. We were the brothers that both attending on Friday. My brother unfortunately could not attend on the Saturday. It was an absolute delight to meet our favourite zombie killer, have a chat with him, and to see some of his better known (and lesser known!) movies. Ken of course was an absolute delight to meet, and I must thank you for your professional and courteous approach in ensuring this event went smoothly. You guys really were the unsung heroes of this event, and the biggest thanks of all goes out to you. We felt that we should e-mail you to show our support, and of course, we are both eagerly awaiting Foree Fest 2008.
And I couldn't finish without letting you know my favourite part of the event. Having a drink with Ken! That has to be one of THE coolest things that has ever happened to me.
We both fully support you for Foree Fest 2008, and of course, we both cannot wait for that event!

It was an amazing event and the good feedback from everyone who attended is pouring in. Just to have people coming up to us all and shaking hands after the show each night to say they had a great time was priceless. We are very busy at the moment compiling photos, footage and reviews but very soon we will be sharing lots more from the show!! Foree Fest Updates!
Stuart and I apologise for the lack of updates throughout the Foree Fest events, we were so busy with Ken and the Fans we just did not have the time..
After the 2 days ended, Ken, Stuart and I drove down to London to attend the London Film and Comic Con and didn't get some rest until 10pm last night.
We just wanted to let everyone know that Foree Fest '07 was a fantastic experience! Ken, Stuart and I were blown away at the 2 days events. Everyone who attended have a great time and we can't wait to start planning Foree Fest '08!
A big thank you to all those who assisted us on the days, Paul from the forum was great with the filming of the events and the great artwork he presented to Ken. Matt who welcomed guests and assisted with everything was a life saver!
The biggest thanks has to go to Ken himself for being outstanding as usual with everything. He made sure that every single fan got what they wanted with autographs, photos and chat and made everyone feel relaxed and made the days extra special for all those who attended. The Q&As were amazing and we will post some video footage so nobody feels left out!
Once Stuart and I return from 'Cloud 9', we will post a selection just for you all and some exclusive video footage for all to enjoy.

Foree Fest '07
Ken will be appearing at Foree Fest '07 at the Westminster Theatre at Keele University! The event is being organised by Stuart Green and Richard Booth in association with Buzz Word Films.
The event will feature a screening of George Romero's 'Dawn of the Dead' on Friday 31st August, with an introduction by Ken, Q&A session and an autograph signing, with a free autograph for each ticket holder on their own item. On Saturday 1st September will feature a screening of Rob Zombie's 'The Devil's Rejects', with an introduction by Ken, Q&A session and an autograph signing, with a free autograph for each ticket holder on their own item. Tickets are priced at £15 for each day.
